Our Journey
Crafting the Perfect Concrete Log Siding
The Bord brothers’ journey began in 1989 with Bord Masonry, where they gained a reputation for creating distinctive stone and brick designs throughout Wisconsin. Unable to find the quality materials they needed, they began manufacturing their own concrete products. In the winter of 2000, after realizing the challenges of maintaining traditional log homes, Jim and Bill set out to create a concrete log siding that replicated the beauty of wood while offering unmatched durability and ease of maintenance.
After years of research, product development, and testing, NextGen Logs was born in 2001. Our innovative concrete log siding and fiber cement siding have since been installed in homes across North America, helping homeowners save time and money on maintenance.
